2025_26 District Safety Plan: The Children’s Aid College Prep Charter School’s District-level Emergency Response Plan was developed pursuant to the Commissioner’s Regulation 155.17. The Head of School appointed a District-level Safety Team and charged it with the development and maintenance of the District-level Emergency Response Plan.

Dignity Act and Dignity Act Policy: Children’s Aid College Prep Charter School (CACPCS) is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment free from harassment, bullying (including cyberbullying), and discrimination, in accordance with New York State’s Dignity for All Students Act.
Distraction Free School Policy: In alignment with New York State Education Law §2803 (May 2025), CACPCS has adopted a schoolwide Distraction-Free School Policy for all scholars in Grades K–8 to promote a safe and focused learning environment.
Data Privacy and Security Policy: This policy outlines CACPCS’s responsibility to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of student, teacher, and principal personally identifiable information (PII) in compliance with New York Education Law §2-d, FERPA, and other applicable laws. The school aligns its cybersecurity practices with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (Version 1.1).
