Our Success
In 2025, when parents were asked why they continue to enroll their children at CACPCS, we heard the following:
- Teachers are “amazing,” ”friendly!”
- CACPCS has a “great staff!"
- "It’s a great educational experience."
- Parents referred specifically to the school’s educational program, the “support system” provided to students, and the quality of the “reading and writing” expectations for students.
- Parents described the school’s “positive community” and “loving environment” as reasons their children return each year.
Reading Headlines
- In 2025, 68% of CACPCS’s students in Grades 3–8 met or exceeded proficiency on the New York State English Language Arts exams compared to 38% of Grade 3–8 students from the local school district.
- In 2025, CACPCS students in Grades 3–8 improved their New York State English Language Arts exam results by 10 percentage points for all students and 10 percentage points for those who had been enrolled at CACPCS for two or more years.
Math Headlines
- All of CACPCS’s 8th graders who took the Algebra Regents exam passed, making them eligible for more advanced math courses in high school.
- 89% of CACPCS’s 8th graders met or exceeded proficiency on the New York State Math exam.
- In 2025, 68% of CACPCS’s students in Grades 3–8 met or exceeded proficiency on the New York State Math exams compared to 35% of Grade 3–8 students from the local school district.
English Language Learners
In 2025, one-third of CACPCS students were English Language Learners. CACPCS continues to close the opportunity gap between English Language Learners and English-speaking learners.
