Explore Open Roles
Children’s Aid College Prep Charter School is a Children’s Aid K-8 community school located in the South Bronx. Join a dedicated team committed to creating a caring, highly-supportive and engaging learning environment for our students. At CACPCS it’s all about the learning!
Our Core Values
Compassion, Achievement, Curiosity, Perseverance, Courage, and Service (CACPCS) guide our school community and set high expectations for both scholars and staff. These values encourage scholars to respect staff, their peers, and school property; actively participate in class; produce high-quality work in all subjects; support one another; and come to school every day on time and ready to learn.
Because social skills are just as important to teach as academic subjects like reading and writing, our core values are reinforced throughout the day, beginning as soon as scholars enter the school building. Staff use these values to establish clear classroom and school-wide expectations for behavior.
C: Compassion – We care and show empathy, respect, and acceptance for each other.
A: Achievement – We will aim high and accomplish our goals with excellence.
C: Curiosity – We are always eager to explore new things and ask questions.
P: Perseverance – We will work hard and never give up, even when it’s difficult.
C: Courage – We will be proud of ourselves, our family, and community. We will be brave and always do what’s right.
S: Service – We will find positive ways to contribute to our community, by putting integrity first and service before self.
